NGC 7822

28 Sep 2024

This is NGC7822. It’s a star forming region of Cepheus. I captured this over a number of weeks given the poor weather we’ve had recently. I used HDR mode on my Risingcam with sub lengths of 5mins or 10mins. Despite this, the resulting stack had low signal. I think I’ll avoid HDR mode for narrowband in future. Anyway, I’m reasonably happy with the results. This region is begging for a mosaic and perhaps I’ll get around to it one day.
