M45 Pleiades

31 Oct 2025

This is The Pleiades taken using RGB filters. Annoyingly, it’s suffering from a nasty chromatic aberation which I’ve never seen before on any other image. I don’t know what causes it but I will get to the bottom of it

C/2025 A6 Lemmon

26 Oct 2025

This is comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon). This was very low in the sky lurking amongst light pollution. It was the first comet that I’d ever captured and I had to learn a new skill to process it. It’s not fantastic, but I’m happy with it for a first attempt

M13 Great Globular Cluster in Hercules

30 Apr 2025

I decided to capture M13 again. I’ve never really rated globular clusters. I mean, they’re just a bunch of stars, right? Well, this one turned out ok and suits my focal length a little better than most of the galaxies.

M94 Croc's Eye Galaxy

30 Mar 2025

Here’s M94 the Croc’s Eye Galaxy. This one was far harder than I thought it would be. There’s a very bright core and some faint nebulosity surrounding it that’s barely brighter than my light pollution.
